Capability data

Syllago’s capability data records which content types each AI coding tool supports and how each provider represents them. The provider pages and the capability matrices on this site come from that data.

capmon owns the capability data and the pipeline that keeps it current. capmon watches each provider’s upstream documentation for drift and repairs its own data when sources move.

capmon publishes the data as the Capability Feed at openscribbler.github.io/capmon. The feed index lists the live contract version, and each version’s index.json names every data file with its SHA-256 hash.

Syllago mirrors the feed once a day. Before it writes anything, the mirror job verifies the feed’s provenance and each file’s hash, and stops if either check fails or the feed has gone stale. The mirrored copy lands in docs/provider-capabilities/ in the syllago repo through a pull request, so every data change goes through the repo’s normal checks before a release ships it.

Syllago v0.14.0 moved the capmon command tree out of the syllago CLI. The same subcommands and flags now belong to the standalone capmon binary. For build steps and usage, see the capmon README.
